Over-spray occurs is when paint that is being sprayed drifts onto the surface of your car. This is WAY more common than most people know because paint can drift substantial distances.

Some over-spray conditions are easy to spot because you can clearly see the specks of paint on your car. But many times over-spray is less noticeable because it is a similar color to your car, or maybe the specks are very small and cannot be readily seen but must be felt to detect their presence.

Either way this over-spray should be removed professionally to prevent the specks from making permanent pits in your paint.
